As Congress moves forward with Child Nutrition Reauthorization, it is critical that advocates across the country mobilize to ensure that Congress passes a strong and robust bill that expands program access and participation by the end of the 111th Congress.  The White House, U.S. Department of Agriculture, Senate Agriculture Committee Chair Blanche Lincoln (D-AR), and 221 House Members are all committed in this effort to support President Obama’s proposed $10 billion/10 years for the reauthorization effort.  (The Senate Agriculture Committee-passed bill provides $4.5 billion/10 years.)
