Extension Granted by Department of Revenue for Unemployment

"WZ New? FANO Newsletter Image"

On Wednesday, November 25, FANO was able to negotiate an extension by the Florida Department of Revenue.  Now nonprofits have until Jan 1 to make a decision n enrolling in the FANO cost savings program for employment.  The difficulty has been in estimating the new rate because is is not  announced until mid December yet the decision must be made by November 30.  “Thanks to the Department of Revenue’s extension we have taken the guess work out of the decision.  Said Marina Pavlov, FANO President.  The only thing is … we need you to let us know that you are considering the program by sending an email with your contact name, company name and Unemployment Identification Number found on your rate sheet by December 1.  This is not much time so please respond asap.  305.557.1764

Health Benefits continue to be a top concern for nonprofit employers

FANO is pleased to introduce to all FANO Members a real solution to the affordable health care crisis.

ProMedical Plan PHC, Inc. does one thing and only one thing….affordable health care for those who need a solution for the rising health care costs.  Founded in l998, The Pro Medical Plan offers a BASIC PLAN with a COMPREHENSIVE BENEFIT PACKAGE for Nonprofit Employers that needs cost effective solution for their employees and their families, as well as volunteers and members.

ProMedical will furnish a scheduled on-site representative at your company for 5 employees or more for enrollment.  An additional hospitalization rider is also available for a minimal cost.

ProMedical Plan is licensed as a PHC Plan (managed care prepaid health plan) which, according to the Florida Department of Financial Services, is not subject to the Federal ERISA regulations.  This means employees that are enrolled in another health plan may elect ProMedical Plan coverage for their dependents. In addition, this allows children alone to be enrolled in the plan.
