About the Sunshine Certificate in Nonprofit Management

Nonprofits have an opportunity to become certified in nonprofit management by the Florida Association of Nonprofits. Certification gains your organization many advantages, particularly in grantwriting, by proving that you are committed and knowledgeable in the proper management of your nonprofit, and have a vision and a practical plan for the use of funds.

Florida Nonprofits was the first organization in Florida to offer certification, has a 25-plus-year history of superior ratings, and is in the 99th percentile of recommendations from certificate graduates.

(*Additional CEU credits available from Broward College by request)

Through the certification, which is offered in coordination with the Nova Southeastern University (NSU) Fischler School of Education and Human Services, and Broward College (BC), the Florida Association of Nonprofits promotes its mission, capacity building through the development of nonprofit L.E.A.D.E.R.S.H.I.P.  The courses are motivating and configured to facilitate a hands-on experience.
