Nonprofit Property Protection Act
This national piece of legislation will expand the ability for nonprofits to buy property insurance. Alliance for Nonprofit Insurance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and will be the underwriter. Florida nonprofits will benefit by having a source of property and auto physical damage coverage that meets their needs in ways that the commercial market does not. Sponsor is Rep. Dennis Ross of FL and Cosponsor is Rep. Ed Perlmutter of CO. The bill will be reintroduced in Congress soon, so your representatives need to hear from you!
