Dec 2020 News Start Up

For more than two decades the Florida Association of Nonprofits and President Marina Pavlov have helped hundreds of those with a dream to help others to start nonprofit organizations that achieved those missions. And we are currently helping several nonprofit entrepreneurs to achieve their visions of a new nonprofit. If you have a vision of a new nonprofit organization, let us help you achieve that vision with the “How to Start a Nonprofit Organization” class offered on the first Friday of each month. The course provides all the information needed before launching a nonprofit in Florida.

All 2019 course graduates said the class assisted their professional growth and over half felt it assisted exceptionally. Michelle H. wrote: “The instructor was great and very informative.” Lisa R. declared “It was a great foundation!” and “The program was useful and well done.” Gere T. wrote us after receiving her 501(c)(3) status “We did it! It could not have happened without your untiring help… above and beyond any expectation!”

The class covers why and how to start a nonprofit organization
including 32 points to consider before becoming a nonprofit. It is offered the first Friday of each month, but can also be scheduled at your convenience, and is presented as a webinar. The next class is scheduled for January 8 or request a custom date or time.

Understanding how the sector works saves time and energy, and using the resources of Florida Nonprofits saves money. Individual members can take the class for only $125, or you and your supporters and potential board members can all attend for $175.
