June 2020 News Start-ups

For more than two decades the Florida Association of Nonprofits and President Marina Pavlov have helped hundreds of those with a vision of helping others to start nonprofit organizations that achieved those missions. Of 23 graduates of the course in 2019, 20 stated that they found the class very interesting, while three found it interesting. All said the class assisted their professional growth and over half felt it assisted exceptionally.

Michelle H., who took the class in February 2020 wrote: “The instructor was great and very informative.” Lisa R. declared “It was a great foundation!” and “The program was useful and well done.” Gere T. wrote us after receiving her 501(c)(3) status “We did it! It could not have happened without your untiring help… above and beyond any expectation!”

The class covers why and how to start a nonprofit organization including 32 points to consider before becoming a nonprofit. It is offered the first Friday of each month, but can also be scheduled at your convenience, and can be presented live or as a webinar. The next class is scheduled for July 10 or request a custom date or time.

Understanding and learning how the sector works saves time and energy, and using the resources of Florida Nonprofits saves money. Individual members can take the class for only $125, or if you want to bring your supporters and potential board members, everyone can attend for $175.

Henry David Thoreau said “If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them.” Contact Florida Nonprofits to build your foundation. The loss of a dream is a tragedy. Let Florida Nonprofits help make your vision a reality.
