Mid Feb 2021 News Saving Time thru Planning

A tip from an expert can make tasks so much easier and faster. The Florida Association of Nonprofits has contacts with experts on every aspect of nonprofit management built up over our 30-year history of unifying, strengthening, and building capacity for Florida’s nonprofits.

Maxine Kamin, M.Ed., is one of the experts who graciously shares her expertise with Florida Nonprofits. Maxine’s background includes 14 years in academia and over 20 years in corporate and nonprofit positions, including faculty at the University of Massachusetts, Manager of Instruction and Evaluation at American Express, and dean level positions at Miami-Dade College. She also holds a Sunshine Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Florida Nonprofits, Nova Southeastern University and Broward College.

She is the author of Soft Skills Revolution: A Guide for Connecting with Compassion for Trainers, Teams, and Leaders, published by Wiley and a host of other publications, including internationally recognized books and training guides for the American Society for Training and Development such as: 10 Steps to Successful Customer Service, and Customer Service Training.

She founded TOUCH Consulting, Inc.: The Personal Touch in Business, in 1995, and consults on a national basis with companies and nonprofits for excellence in business practices. She assists clients with “the personal touch,” emphasizing that all business and fundraising starts and ends with forming trusting relationships.

Maxine will lead the Planning: Power Vision & Strategic Thinking class on Saturday, February 20 at 1 pm. We are very grateful to her for sharing her knowledge and her “personal touch” with us.

We are delighted to be able to share this level of expertise with our members and students. We invite you to join us (virtually) as we cover these important topics. Click here for more info on the Sunshine Certificate in Nonprofit Management.
