September 2022 News Empower Your Nonprofit

Are You Ready to Empower Yourself to Empower the Greater Good?

Capacity Building – Advocacy – Policy – Fundraising – Leadership – Management – Economic Growth

The Florida Association of Nonprofits (Florida Nonprofits) is the sole nonprofit offering advocacy and capacity building to its members in Florida. Organizations who become members gain access to Nonprofit Day in Tallahassee and the Sunshine Certificate in Nonprofit Management, along with other benefits.

The certificate program includes classes in the business of nonprofit management such as: compliance, grant writing, board governance and policy, volunteer management, effective fundraising techniques, event planning, understanding policy, strategic thinking, marketing and communications, keeping up with technology, and sustainability. It is a proven program which Florida Nonprofits has offered for 27 years. It can be defined as the compass for your nonprofit’s success.

The fundamental goal of all nonprofit stakeholders is to manage donated resources for the benefit of society. Therefore, we prepare nonprofit leaders by exposing them to significant initiatives and the ideas of current leaders. Every nonprofit leader needs to demonstrate robust outcomes and financial knowledge to support the complex evidence required by the IRS.

Nonprofit start-ups have an even greater need for information on what they are facing. Not only the founder, but also the potential board members and volunteers require knowledge of all aspects of nonprofit formation and management. Save money by learning from experts rather than trial and error. Florida Nonprofits members receive support and have access to this knowledge and training.

Community stakeholders are responsible for billions of dollars in the donation stream to be directed to the greater good to help remedy some of the major social needs of our time. Greater knowledge allows stakeholders to achieve more significant outcomes. Florida Nonprofits prepares nonprofit leaders to succeed.

All nonprofit, government and business leaders, volunteers, stakeholders, funders, and consultants can benefit from sector-specific education, networking with their peers, advocacy on behalf of nonprofits, and resource sharing. To celebrate our 33rd anniversary on November 7, we are offering 14 months for the cost of 12 with any membership or renewal prior to November 7, 2022.
